October 6th

Two great things happened today.  The first is our kick off of Operation Shoe Box.  This is a great way to share the gospel with children in poor countries.  Look for info in your child's folder.  The school is a drop off center for shoeboxes!

The next great thing that happened was our PEP RALLY!  We took some time after lunch to kick off homecoming weekend.  We had the whole school in the great room and in the balcony cheering on our sports teams.  Mr. Whiteway lead us in a school cheer and the students were pumped up to see the older kids running through the great room.  The school looked ablaze in yellow and blue with all of our banners hanging.
